PART ONE
Two nights ago I wound up at a dance hosted by the Jewish Student Union. It was at the EMU fishbowl and had about 15 people at its high point.
I danced a lot. My knee is fucked up (swollen and painful).
PART TWO
E.E. Cummings is tight. Those who spell his name in lowercase be chumps. Future livejournal posts will be written in crappy imitations of his syntax and punctuation. |

Rapid Voluntary Personality Transmogrifications
a) Being hot shit. This one's been going on for maybe a month or so. Hot shit about what I do, what I make, what I'm going to make, so on. Try it if you haven't already. It's fucking great.
b) The end of crushes. (And the crush party isn't happening.) Crushes are umpteenth drafts of long letters flawlessly handwritten in exotic inks with a custom cut quill on handmade paper and sealed with wax rendered from the your own body fat. They wind up falling in on themselves with weird contortions and self-deceit. Now I do business cards.
c) Less attention to how much/hard I'm working. It's a lot. I enjoy about 80-90% of it. I don't need to count. |

If you send an instant message to 'uoreference' somebody working at the reference desk at the Knight Library will help answer any question. uoreference = wise man on a throne. Amazing. |

My neighbors ordered two extra large pizzas from Dominos tonight. Now I hear fast pounding, "take it, bitch," and exclamations of pain as one of them falls to the floor.
This weekend involved exciting climactic situations, defused in the most orderly way imaginable. I'm keeping it vague. |

| Two Really Awesome Things I've Discovered Today |
[May. 11th, 2006|11:27 pm] |
1) Acrylic sheets/cement: this stuff is so rad. You can cut and drill it with any tool you'd use for wood, and it doesn't warm or crack or expand or any of that. The best part is that joining the corners of, say, a box is really easy and not messy at all if you use a needle applicator. I'm making prototypes for slipcasting and it totally kicks ass.
2) Camino: if you're on a mac, this is the web browser you should switch to. It's essentially firefox without the weird user interface. Ever since I started using google calendar, Safari just started to suck. The only thing missing is something like an AcidSearch plug-in, but since Camino is only ten days old I trust it's on its way. |

Eugene is racist against tall people that want to play soccer. No extra-large shinguards ANYWHERE.
Today I was busy for 12 hours straight, after which I went to Target and aquired underwear and undershirts. I think I was so out of it that I just walked out of the store and left them at the checkstand mom if you stalk me on livejournal that is not code for doing drugs it just means I was really flustered this evening okay. |

a new blog for all things intellectual and designish:

livejournal is now strictly for boring memories, funny pictures from google image search, and accounts of large neighbors that gasp for air and thrash the furniture around while fucking. |

I have been constantly working minute to minute for over 24 hours.
Now I am relaxing, of all places, at my job.
Who wants to have beers this evening? |

"And then go to Filters, go to Glow, and choose, Bloom. Set brightness to 100, and threshold to 53. Everybody got it?"
This class is bullshit. |
